İlkbin is a study app for students preparing for the YKS exam. It shows bite-sized study cards that you swipe through. We built it to be private by design: İlkbin does not require an account and does not collect personal information about you.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
We do not collect personal data. The app has no user accounts, no login, and no registration. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information, and the app contains no advertising or third-party analytics or tracking software.
3. Information stored on your device
To work offline and stay up to date, the app stores study content locally on your device:
- Study content cache. The most recently downloaded set of study cards is saved in the app's private storage so the feed works without a network connection.
- App preferences. Lightweight settings such as your selected exam track and subject filter may be kept on the device.
- Study progress. Your answers to cards and which cards you've studied are saved on the device so the app can show your personal study statistics (such as how many questions you've answered and your accuracy).
This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
4. Network requests
The app periodically checks for updated study content by downloading static files over a secure (HTTPS) connection from our content host (a static file-hosting service). No personal data is sent in these requests — the app only asks for the latest content files.
5. Permissions
The app only uses internet access, which is required to download updated study content. It does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or other sensitive device features.
6. How we use information
Because we do not collect personal data, we do not use it for profiling, advertising, marketing, or any automated decision-making. The locally stored content described in Section 3 is used solely to display the study feed and your study statistics on your device.
7. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties, and we have no third-party advertising or analytics partners in the app. The only third party involved is the static content host that delivers the study files, as described in Section 4.
8. Children's privacy
İlkbin is intended for students preparing for the YKS exam, some of whom may be minors. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, please contact us and we will address it; in practice the app provides no way to submit personal information to us.
9. Data security
Content is downloaded over encrypted HTTPS connections, and the on-device cache is stored in the app's private storage area provided by your operating system. Because we hold no personal data on any server, there is no personal data of yours for us to lose.
10. Your rights
You remain in control of the data stored on your device: you can clear the app's cached content at any time through your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. As we do not hold personal data about you, there is nothing further for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
